In 1927, along with her parents and brothers she immigrated to Canada. They settled in Oakbank, MB for a short time before moving to Niverville, MB. She passed away on Friday, July 29, 2005. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Emilie; her brothers, Joseph and James; and her husband Dave. She is survived by her sister-in-law Elizabeth Kreibich, two step sisters-in-law, Helen and Frieda Pauls and many nieces and nephews. Olga Kreibich married Dave Martens in 1938. They lived near Sperling, MB until 1948 when they moved to North Kildonan. She worked for many years at Thor Machinery and at Eatons. Following retirement, summers were spent at the Big Whiteshell and winters were spent in Texas. Her last years were spent at Donwood EPH and Donwood Manor Personal Care Home. Olga loved children. As a result Aunt Olga was a special Aunt especially to her younger nieces and nephews. She made them all feel special. For many of the other nieces and nephews she was not just an Aunt but also a close friend. We would like to thank the staff at Donwood Manor for their kindness and care given to our Aunt. We miss you, but we know you are at peace in God's Hands. A graveside service at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens will be held on Wednesday, August 3 at 3:30 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 4:30 p.m. at the River East Mennonite Brethren Church, 755 McLeod Ave. Arrangements by Friends Funeral Service.
